Unfolding the breath

Understand the integration of the breath in yoga postures and how it develops into pranayama practice is one of the foundations of practicing posture. In this workshop we will look at the areas of the breath in the body and how it relates to the lower belly (uddiyana bandha) and pelvic floor (mula bandha), allowing for an integrated practice to unfold over time.

The morning practice will consist of a slower asana practice drawing on the primary series of Ashtanga Yoga, followed by an afternoon workshop on the breath and the bandhas.

Everyone is welcome, especially beginners.
